I hope Dallin had a good birthday! Did you remember to give him his present from me? Sounds like you are turning into a beast! Riding your bike and walking, I hope I won't get fat. We run every morning so I should be ok haha. Anyways here is the rest of the week:
End of Wednesday: We went to the Spittlers and talked with her so her son Robbert could do some work and other stuff, she is a very nice old lady and every time we see her we can tell she is getting closer to death it is weird and sad. After that we went to Nita haha love this women she is so funny she is a dry Mormon for sure. Tomorrow we are going to bring her with us to teach a member haha that is a way to get a member present lesson haha. That was about it for Wednesday.

Thursday we went to this lady that is moving into our ward Sister Robison and she is super nice she gave us hot cocoa and carrot cake yummy Ü. After that we went to see Frau Seiple and she is doing good as usual we just read the story of the brother of Jared with her and talked about it and it was really cool because we didn´t plan to do this story in advance and we were reading it in German and I could understand almost all of it...sweet! I have been reading in the Book of Mormon in German out loud almost every day, guess it pays off Ü. After that we went to the Hunts for dinner they are a lovely member couple. They were both sick so it was funny they had all these separate things for us because they didn´t want us to get sick. They also made yummy peach cobbler and it was really cool because Sister Tuschling had never had it before! I know right! She has been living under a rock! They also gave us tons of left overs haha they are awesome. Then I went home and made cinnamon rolls so they could rise over night

Friday we had district meeting and we did something really cool. We went through the church building like it was the plan of salvation and sister Tuschling and I were in charge of the 3 degrees of glory that is why I made the cinnamon rolls for the Celestial glory...good thing they turned out to be yummy, I was worried because I had to use wheat flour for some of it because I ran out of normal flour. After that we had a lesson with David! And we watched the restoration movie and talked about some commandments and asked him if he would be baptized and he said YES! But he has one issue he wants to get married first.... but we set a date for him June 15 and he said he would pray about it. After that we went to Shama and Andrew. When we got there Andrew was asleep so we just taught Shama and it was good we read scriptures with her and talked about the Holy Ghost. Then we had to go home

Saturday we got this less active member Sandra and went to the church building and practiced singing the choir hymns with her it was really fun and I played the piano not too bad, but it took a lot of time! So after that we really only had time to get on the bahn and head up to Friedricksdorf to see Shama and Andrew again but this time it was with Bishop Chaves and his family.  Andrew, the amazing cook that he is, made fried chicken haha and it was yummy ...remember this guy is from Scotland. This time we talked about keeping the Sabbath day holy but mostly it was a time for the Chaves and them to become friends so it was really fun Ü Then Shama and Andrew took us home and Shama and I made up a secret handshake on the way home haha they are awesome.

Sunday was rainy and cold! But it was ok none of our investigators that we thought were going to come came which was sad but Coco came which was crazy because we thought she was in China haha so that was a nice surprise Ü Then we did Weekly planning and then went to the Branes for dinner and watch the hour long Restoration movie with them Alejandra and the Elders it was a fun night.

And that brings us to today which I haven´t really done much but later I am going to try to make Strawberry Rhubarb pie so I will tell you how that turns out next week. LOVE YOU ALL have an amazing week

Love
Sister Wrathall

I guess they are going for the same look!

This was Allison's email on Monday:

I have no time! I can´t write this week love you! I am alive!

She redeemed herself and found a few minutes to write some more today!  And to send a lot of pictures too!

So I got some more time to write today but not much so I wrote you a letter and put it in the mail yesterday so I am going to just talk about yesterday
Yesterday I went on a split with sister Imbach, she is awesome. We wore matching shirts haha.

Our first appointment she had never been to the house so we got there early and she told me she didn´t have and address and I was like so how are we going to find it, she was just like we will walk around and then she pointed to a building and was like that looks right, and it was the building! Cool, but then we were there like an hour early so she said lets go get our split eis and I was like what does that mean and she said it is a tradition to get ice cream when every you go on a spilt! MAN I have been getting jipped! Anyways after that we went to our appointment and it was this really awesome newly wed couple. After that we went to this lady who talked forever! I started to fall asleep haha it was hard not only because she talked a lot but also because she talked fast and in German. After her we went to see if this lady was home and she wasn´t so we headed to our next appointment and they were really nice and gave us chocolate! YUM after that we had some time before our split ended and we hadn´t eaten dinner so we ate Thai and had coconut curry it was so yummy Ü anyways that was yesterday you will get the rest later in the mail.
love you!

This week was weird but awesome at the same time, Tuesday Sister Tuschling had to go to the doctors for a blood test and it took like 3 hours including travel time to do that. It was so lame we got to the doctor`s office and waited for like20 mins then she went back and they asked her some questions and then we waited like20 more minutes then she went back again and they asked her some more questions then she came and waited for like 15 mins then she went back and actually go her blood drawn and it took like 2 mins! We could have been done after 2 mins but no haha... Germans. After that we had to ameblen me which is this thing you have to do whenever you move it was pretty easy. On the way there we got on the bus and I forgot to zip up my backpack and this girl said hey your backpack is unzipped and I was just in shock because it was English. We found out that she is a member of the church her name is Diana and she is really nice. So that was cool to meet her. After that we had to go to dinner we ate with the Fernondes family and they are awesome! Their son is the member missionary and is cool. It is funny because the parents speak with Spanish accents and the kids speak with British accents. But the actual dinner was funny. We had like bread salad and these little tostada things, I was like ok a little weird but whatever. So we finished eating that and I was ready for dessert and then they bring out this big bowl of spaghetti.....so I had to eat that...then they brought out strawberry strudel and I ate that ....I have never been more full in my life haha! At least it was yummy food Ü.

Wednesday I had my first split. It was with Sister Stoddard and it was in my area which meant I was supposed to know where everything was...haha that was funny. We only had a couple things we had to do but I had never been to any of the places before, so first we were supposed to go toSister Spittlers house. She is this really old lady that is being taken care of by her son Robbert. He is working full time as a translator and has to be home all the time because of his mom. We go to visit her so that Robbert can have a break. Anyways because we both had no idea how to get there we ended up being an hour late! I felt horrible but once we got there we could tell that Robbert was so relieved and it was really nice to talk to Sister Spittler. She told us her conversion story while we ate once again fish.. :( I didn´t like this so much but we also had really yummy cake and ice cream Ü. After that we went by this man's house who speaks Arabic but he wasn`t home. Then we had ward counsel and that was amazing. Our ward is sooooo awesome and so good at helping us with missionary work! Also I had to call all of these people and I need to text people. One person that I texted was this lady named Justine. I asked her if we could meet with her on Saturday and she said she couldn`t but that she would come to church! I was like ya that would be wonderful! This is really cool because not too long ago she said she would never come to church and now she is volunteering to go!!

Thursday I got Sister Tuschling back!!!!! I missed her haha. After I got her back we went and visited Frau Seipel and it was fun to see her, she is sooo cute. We watched a movie with her about missionary work. So guess what we were talking to her and she just stopped us and was like wait! I have something to tell you! We were like ok... and she said I bore my testimony! This is awesome because last week we challenged her to bear her Testimony in church and she did it!! After Frau Seipel we met up with Sister Mcgill and went to teach Nita. Nita is so awesome I think she knows that the church is true and she needs to get baptized she just doesn`t want to do it haha. We were talking to her about it and she said I can`t be baptized again. Ask me anything else and I will do it but I can`t be baptized again. So that was a little sad but she is so funny. I think one day she will be baptized  but I don`t know when that day will be.

Friday we started out with having pancakes with the Offenbach Elders and Nika, Nika is a 21 year old girl who the Elders found and are trying to hand her off to us. Let me just tell you this girl is amazing! She is German speaking and is soo wonderful. She has such strong faith it is crazy we talked about prophets with her and she was like ok that makes sense haha. Then she saw a picture of the temple and was asking about it! She is so wonderful also I was able explain who Moroni is and why he is on the temples hehe woot! (She is excited about that because she was teaching in German)Anyways she is awesome. After that we went and picked flowers to give to Frau Koch. She is an old lady that is getting baptized soon. When we got to her house she said to us come in children and then she gave us chocolate an apple and the nasty German water ..yuck! But you ate chocolate to get the nasty taste out so it was ok haha. Anyways she has been feeling so alone and so when we talked about the holy ghost and how it can comfort her she just cried and then we promised that we would visit her every week and she was happy about that. After that we went to the stake center and had SPORT NIGHT!!!! It was so fun we played volleyball and it was cool because all the missionaries were there and the YSA too. That means Alejandra , she is a recent convert, and she is awesome. We would be best friends if I was in her ward.

Saturday was weird because all our lessons fell though but we did meet up with our Elders and we made a little mothers day card for all the women in our ward haha it is so funny but that is really all we did.....oh I also made a pie Ü

Sunday was amazing Christine and David both came to church!!!! All the talks and classes were awesome and then I also got to Skype with family. We also talked with the Brandes a lot and they made us raspberry milkshakes yum. Then they took us home and slipped Sister Tuschling 50 euros! for her going home outfit !! They are so nice and he is such a gentleman. They are awesome senior missionaries

Anyways that was my week hope you all had a wonderful week as well love you all

This week was awesome! It took me a long time but I am finally in Germany!!!!! Tuesday at 3 in the morning I left the MTC to go to the airport and then on Wednesday around 9 I got to GERMANY! We got there and we rode public transport to the stake center. There we were greeted with pretzels and basically apple juice as well as apples. I thought that was a appropriate thing to be our first food in Germany. While eating we did boring paper work and was told once again that I can not get a drivers license in Germany because I am from Georgia....lame.
We went to teach our first person it is a YSA and her family. It was about reading scriptures and she committed to try to read every day. It was also he father's birthday so we got to eat cake and sing to him. During that I realized I can understand some German but not much. I also noticed it is even harder to speak! After that we went back to the stake center and had pizza and salad and yummy brownies with President Schwartz and his wife. I also had an interview with president and he said 3 times be prepared to train soon! So I am thinking after my first 6 weeks I will be training...woot!          Then we went to the hotel and I got to room with Sister Lamen she was really awesome and I took some pictures of our room. When we got to our room we showered and then immediately fell asleep! We slept 12 hours then woke up and ate yummy German breakfast I had bread with cheese and hot chocolate and a croissant with Nutella yummy :) then we had a meeting where we found out our area and our companion!!!!! SO I am in the Frankfurt International and Offenbach ward and my awesome companion is Sister Tuschling. So my area is pretty big we teach like everyone that speaks English and a couple of Germans. My companion is a ginger like me woot!  This is her last 6 weeks so I am her last companion! She is from Wyoming and is 24 and a convert for about 3 years now.
So after we found that out we rode a bus to the train station but because we just socialized for a while and then walked to our apartment, it is a really good apartment we just got all new furniture and stuff I didn't take any pictures but I will take some next week and send them then. It is modern so mom you would love it haha. Then we went to this members house Frau Seipel and taught her this was in German she was really nice and I could understand the gist of what she was saying but I only spoke once I think. haha Then we went to the testimony meeting of the leaving missionaries.
The next day my first full day we studied for 5 hours then we went to find this guy that other Sisters met on the train his name is Mulle Sium so we went to his address and it was really creepy so we called him and he told us he was expecting us at the train station! So 45 mins later we get to the train station and there he is waiting for us! Soo cute! He has horrible German and I know, how could I really tell but Sister Tuschling told me so there....anyways it ends up he speaks this crazy African language so we told him we would try to find a book of Mormon in his language and later we found out there is a guy in our ward who speaks his language so we are going to have him come with us next time :) Then we went to the Offenbach ward and taught this investigating family English this week it was good then we talked to them about baptism too. Then we went to the Stake center to teach Delphin and on the way I was feeling brave so I turned to this lady and said how are you in German and she turned to me and said I DON'T KNOW YOU and then turned away.... this was really awkward because we had to stay on the train for like 10 more minutes! Anyways now I know that it is weird to ask strangers how they are it is better to give compliments or if it is a holiday it is ok to ask if they are having a good holiday haha oh well lesson learned.
The next day we had our first District meeting and it was really good I like the other sisters and elders in our district. Then we went to Shana and Andrews for lunch he is from Scotland and she is from Pakistan and they cooked us yummy burgers and this really good coconut cream pie. He is like a master chef and is in love with cooking and iron chef just like me soo I really like him. He has a hard time believing in God though but he is making progress. Shana believes but won't tell Andrew because she is afraid he will leave her. Then we ate dinner at the Shields who is a family in the military where the father is not a member but the rest are and that was really fun. Then we met with Alejandra she is a recent convert that is 21 and she is awesome!
Next day was my first Sunday! It was awesome I got up and bore my testimony and everyone was so nice to me. After church we went to the Craven's for lunch and they served us don don don....SALMON!!!!! I was good and ate it ...and guess what I actually liked it! She also made yummy roasted vegetable and rolls, German rolls and then we ate these yummy chocolate and almond covered marzipan cookies then we went to the Branens and the went with us to our appointment with Justine who is this lady who is from Japan but speaks English and she referred herself cool right! Anyways she has trouble in believing in God but she has been praying and she read in the Book of Mormon which is pretty sweet! So that was my first couple of days Ü love you all

She made it!

Just a brief note to let you know your missionary has arrived!  I apologize for the group email, however, we were at the orientation late yesterday and only in the office for an hr this am before we go to the bahn station for transfers.  Your missionary is getting his-her companion right now and area assignment. We are excited to have them.  Truly this is cream of the crop young adults!  They come with such fluency.  We love them and thank you for preparing such wonderful young adults to serve the Lord.  They managed to stay awake and got to their hotel room about 6pm.  I know they slept like rocks!!!

Please view the blogspot, located in my signature, to view updated photos and activity.  You are welcome to view this throughout the mission and distribute it to family and friends.

Remember, mail is our biggest challenge! It is very undependable and unreliable to say the least!  Cushion anything that rattles (like m&ms) to keep it quiet to avoid customs check because they think it is medicines!  Also do not send any beef jerky or animal product.  It will be confiscated. Please send anything you want to arrive in a timely manner 6-8 wks in advance.  Especially Christmas.  Don’t procrastinate!!

We promise to take good care of your missionary!  We love them!!!  Another correspondence will follow, maybe early next week, to give you your missionary’s address and other follow up.  Bear with us! These are big numbers of missionaries to follow up on!  All the data has to be entered into the IMOS system to merge companion/address information, etc.  By June we will have received 100 new missionaries and by November we will receive another 100!  Our mission should end up to be about 275 +/-.
