That is so cool that she is doing what we have been asking her to do!

Tuesday we had district meeting which was in German because I don´t know if I told you but we have a new rule where we speak German from 9am to 9pm. This week it was in Karhlsruhe and when we go to Karhlsruhe we ride on the same ticket as the elders which means we have to leave with them too. Which is normally ok but not this time because they had an appointment far away so it took us about 2 hours to get to our next appointment! SO LONG ON THE TRAIN!!!!! Once we finally got to our appointment we had so much fun because we were helping Cathy and Michelle paint their new apartment. It was a lot of fun I love them both so much. After that we met up with Sister Keil and went to the Erbs together. The lesson went well.  We talked about the Plan of Salvation. She had tons of good questions and is opening up more which is really good. I hope she will continue to want to meet with us and make progress. This last time we asked her if she read what we asked her to read last time Alma 22 and she said yes and she explained it perfectly and really liked that part of when King Lamoni´s father prays to God and she said she has prayed and asked God about the church but hasn´t received an answer yet so that is cool that she is doing what we have been asking her to do. After the appointment Sister Keil took us out to dinner. She is so nice I love talking with her haha. She would be my friend if I really lived here.

Wednesday we were able to meet with the Onigkeit family which was fun as usual. This time though she "cooked" potatoes but they were not even close to done and so we ate uncooked potatoes yum haha. You should have seen Sister Teeples face she almost threw up! But they were nice as always and we were able to have a good spiritual thought with them. The rest of the day was lame-o paper work and such.

Thursday 2 of our appointments fell out but we were still able to meet with Carla which was good because she hasn´t done that yet we have just taken her to appointments with us. It was good to get to know her better and be able to give her a spiritual thought. She is super sweet. After that we did....WEEKLY PLANNING.... almost died then went to institute. Vi was there and I love that girl we are going to do not this p-day but the nest one with her it will be super fun!

Friday we met with the Rose couple haha. They are this older couple in our ward and they are super funny! Sister Rose lived in California for 1 year and so her English is good and then Brother Rose tries to speak English and it is so cute haha. He loves telling jokes like" There was a boy and a stranger came up to him and asked if he wanted to get his hair cut, the boy said yes but that he didn´t have any money the man said that is ok. He took the boy to a barber shop and then said he needed to leave and then would come back. The barber cut the boys hair and then said where is your dad? He has been gone for a long time? The boy said that wasn´t my dad it was a stranger and then left too." HAHAHAHAHA Sister Teeples and I couldn´t stop laughing because it made no SENSE!!! He thought that we were laughing at his joke though and that made him happy haha. They fed us stake that they cooked in 3 mins! It was good :) After them we went to one of my favorites, Sister Breitenhuber but this time we brought a joint teach and it was horrible hahah he just talked and talked and talked and Sister Breitenhuber offered him chocolate and he just continued to talk and he takes NO BREATH so it is impossible to stop him. I would know I tried a couple of times...didn´t work. SO he won’t be coming with us again haha. Sister Breitenhuber still loves us though and we will go again next week haha.

Saturday we helped Cathy and Michelle pack which was fun haha. I helped Michelle and Sister Teeples helped Cathy. MAN Michelle has so much STUFF! It took a long time to pack everything but we made it fun. After them we went to the Janata´s house and made cake balls which was bad because we had just had so many sweet and thought we were going to have a real meal there but just had more sweets haha. After we stopped by on Jennifer to invite he to church but she wasn´t there so we left some cookies and a note.

Sunday Michelle came to church but no one else. After church we went to the Jung´s house and had BBQ. It was really good. Their family is so cool! She is the new Relief Society President so we get to work a lot with her which is cool. After that we went and visited this lady from our ward in the hospital that just had her baby. It was evil because we couldn´t hold the super cute baby. After that we went to the Dabron´s for dinner it was super good and they had one of their friends there and she was super cool and we got her number and are going to meet with her!

So my week was pretty good :) Hope you guys had a good one!

SO that was my week :) A good one in my eyes :)

My foot hurts a little sometimes but it is almost not swollen some days it isn´t in the morning so I think the orthotics are working and I just wear them all the time. Good job going out with the Sister Missionaries again. I know I am always grateful when we have a member with us, it makes the lesson a lot better. It is warm here today and i am grateful for it because I am going hiking and playing sports :) and good job with reading in the Book of Mormon I am in Alma as well. I think chapter 25 or something like that. That is good to know i will be going home earlier than I thought haha. That is funny that they tell you and not me. Sounds like your week was fun and thanks for the pictures :) Ok on to my week :)

 

Tuesday we made a bulletin board for missionary work in our church building. I will take a picture when it is fully done. We still need to put some pictures up but it is looking really good :) Then we went and met with Cathy and Michelle which was really good. We had pizza together and then we taught the first lesson to Michelle and man was it funny haha. We watched the Restoration video and bore testimony then asked Michelle if she believed that it really happened and she said " no" so Sister Teeples and I were like oh no!!! But Cathy being a good mother was like  ummmm and why not haha turns out she thought the film was filmed while Joseph Smith was actually going through all of his experiences and she was like how would have known all of that was going to happen to him. Once we cleared that up she was ohhhh ok then I believe it haha then started asking questions like " so when I am baptized..." So we are excited for her :)

 

Wednesday was...fun haha we had some repair men come to our apartment and fix our shower because the whole building has water damage so they got to our apartment at 10:30 and left at 1 sooo we were stuck there forever! Once they were done we went to Sister Keil´s house and prepared with her to teach the Erb couple. We get the Erds and they have all of these golden questions like so what do you believe about repentance and forgiveness and what happens after this life. Sister Teeples and I were like well we have lessons that answer those questions. But that day we taught the restoration because last time they asked what makes our church different and they loved it and Sister Keil was the PERFECT joint teach. It was great. After Sister Keil took us out for ice cream :)

 

Thursday we had breakfast with Sister Dabron. She is super nice she made crepes for us and she is a great member missionary. Then we met with Kristin at the Taylors and watched a movie on Thomas S. Monson because she had questions on the Prophet and she loved the video and called Thomas S. Monson a man of God. She knows and we know the only thing holding her back for baptism is the Book of Mormon. She believes that it brings us closer to God but she doesn´t know if it is historically correct. After that we went to meet with Sister Garbrecht, one of our new ward missionaries. We got off at the stop and our gps wasn´t working so I went and asked this lady how to get to the street and she saw me holding DAS BUCH MORMON and said “I just had a class on your religion and I was quite impressed”. Then her bahn came and she was gone!!! But I did give her a card. Anyways we found the way and Sister Garbrecht was super nice and has a dog that looks like a fox! After her we went to Institute and that was fun seeing some of the BYU students not understanding anything haha we were talking about tithing and the word in German sounds a lot like Satan and so at the end Sister Teeples asked one of them what they understood and he said....we are paying something to Satan hahahahaha! OH NO.

 

Friday was good. We first did weekly planning (not so fun) then we went to lunch at where the BYU students are and they made us tacos :) They asked us if we talked to this lady the other day by their stop and we said yes (the one that just got out from a lesson on our religion) Turns out she is their teacher and they had taught the class! Cool huh! Anyways that whole lunch was weird because we were with people our age but as missionaries... but we made it through haha. After that we met up with Carla a girl that served a mission here a while ago and she went with us to teach this referral we got named Xinxin. She was super nice the language barrier is hard. After that we decided to ride our new favorite bus, bus 32 we call it now the baptism bus haha. So we hopped on and this Chinese guy was sitting next to me and Sister Teeples and I just found out that the Book of Mormon is in like 4 different translations of Chinese so i asked him which was the best and he chose one and then asked if he could keep it...YES! I was shocked so Sister Teeples took over and asked if he would ever want to meet and talk about the book and he said yes gladly....!!!!! But lame-o students, we have to wait till his exams are over so 2 weeks but after that :) Then we went to meet with Sister Breitenhuber which went well haha. We talked about the atonement and at the end of the lesson she said since I have been meeting with you I can feel a change in my life and I just want you to know that you are good missionaries awwww so then I asked if she was ready to come back to church and she said no then Sister Teeples asked if she would go back in the future and she said " do you want some chocolate " hahaha it was so funny. I know one day she will come back.

Saturday we had Zone training and then the Elders had a baptism. Rochelle was baptized and she is the sweetest lady Sister Teeples and I got to help her get ready and after she was baptized it was a good day.

 

Sunday we had church then after we met with Cathy and Michelle and did a short overview of the plan of salvation and that went well. Then we went with Carla to meet with Jennifer. We taught the restoration and it went super well. She LOVED the movie. At the end of the lesson I asked her if she would be baptized on the 14th of June and she said yes! So we are excited for that :)

It was good talking with you guys. It always seems to go too fast!

It was good talking with you guys too it always seems to go too fast! It is like a tease, yes you get to talk to your family then whoop they are gone and you can´t talk to them until September! But still worth it for sure. Oh I made the cake in the toaster oven haha. It was a really small cake. Ok on to the week! Not much since everything fell out haha.

 

Tuesday we were supposed to have 3 appointments but everyone fell out so we still had these people come to our apartment to check out our water damage and then we did a ton of paper work and went by a few people but had no luck.

 

Wednesday we had District meeting our last one of the transfer but only one elder is leaving but we are getting two new elders because they will be in a threesome then after District meeting we met with the Onigkeits and finally asked her if she would want us to prepare her kids to be baptized and she said they can´t until they are 14 because the dad, even though he is moved out, doesn´t want them to get baptized and so they can´t, sad huh. After that we met with Sister Breitenhuber and that was sad because she use to have a really strong testimony but lost it and did some stuff she regrets and doesn´t think she can be forgiven. Then our other appointment fell out. So we did study.

 

Thursday we had our cleaníng check and umm Sister Leondhart thinks we should get a new apartment but our location is so good that we don´t want to haha but we are going to get a new fridge seeing as ours doesn´t stay closed and our food isn´t really cold... after that we met with Kristin at the Taylors and we taught about the 10 commandments and Prophets. It was ok but there was a lot of people there and everyone was talking and talking and talking so I think we over whelmed her with information. After that we did weekly planning and we went out to dinner with 2 of the ysa in our ward and the High Priest Group Leader at this really pricy Chinese buffet. It was super nice of him to take us there, he really likes us and hates the Elders haha which is bad since he is the High Priest Group Leader but he is a really likes it when people are on time and the elders were going to go to the same place with him but they called him and said they were going to be like an hour late! So now he really doesn´t like them haha...oh elders!

 

Friday I got my inserts for my shoes so hopefully in 2 weeks I will be healed! Then our member appointment fell out so we called up Nadine and met with her. Then we went to one of my new favorite families the Vonrauchhaupt family! They are super cute. She got home from her mission a year and a half ago and is married and pregnant! Weird! She served on Temple square and he served in Australia but they speak German with us which I like! They want to baptize a family...sounds like a plan to me haha. After them we went to a funeral of one of the members in our church.

 

Saturday all 3 of our appointments fell out leaving our day open to go find our new fridge!! ... haha oh that was fun... After that we went to this concert that our ward puts on, I guess every year. It was so cool people from our ward shared their talents and invited their friends so come and watch. Our ward is awesome! 

 

Sunday Cathy and Michelle came to church which was good because I feel like I haven´t seen them in forever! Then after we ate at the Spanish ward potluck and that was yummy. Then we went to the Leondharts and Sister Teeples Skyped her family and Sister Leondhart and I baked cookies and made dinner. It was fun. Then we ate and then it was my turn. I got to see my mom and dad super blurry but it was wonderful.

 

That was my week not the best but not the worst. Hope you all have a wonderful week!

You ride this thing to go up to the Castle it is super funny because on the way up they say in German next stop castle and then they say it in english next stop Schloß haha they don´t translate it
