This is why I am here so everyone can be as happy as her.

I was emailing you on Saturday because I thought I wouldn´t do emails till Wednesday, but I was wrong and get to do them today :) I can´t believe that Dallin broke his nose too! That boy! Marie told me it was his leg that he broke and I was like ohhh that is bad she also showed me a picture of him, which is one of the good things, Marie is here! (Marie is our exchange student from Germany) She came Saturday and leaves today so not too long. The other good news comes later. That.is sad that the Temple is closed :( I can´t believe that there is another movie!!! This is getting crazy! I will for sure go to the temple just to see all the new movies haha. Marie says it is weird to hear me speak German. ok on to the week,

Monday I went to the ZOO that was super fun and pretty cheap. I think I will do it again before I leave.

Tuesday was packed we met with the Heckmann family and Monika and Cathy and Michelle, At the Heckmann´s they took us over to her neighbors and we were able to sing with her and share a spiritual thought, it went well but I don´t think she is interested. Monika was great! She is doing so good, We set a new baptismal date with her, the 30th of August. If she keeps going the way she is now she will for sure be ready by that date :) Then with Cathy and Michelle, Michelle had her baptismal interview and she passed with flying colors :)

 

Wednesday we met with the Onigkeits and had a yummy lunch and then we went to the Chinese restaurant with Brüder Kappes and the 2 other girls :) That place is sooo yummy :)

 

Thursday we had district meeting in Kahrls Ruhe and that was good then we made the baptismal program with the Leonhardts and then they took us out to lunch, wraps my favorite :) Then we got to meet with Sister Breitenhuber, we get into her home and ask how she is doing and she says horrible and we are like what why? She says I haven´t smoked a cigarette since Sunday! WHAT!!!  We didn´t even ask her to stop smoking yet! She just did it herself!!!! How great is that! I was so excited I called Sister Teeples and told her, she was so happy!

 

Friday we did weekly planning and then had a "sleep over" with Michelle for our last time before her baptism. We wore our pjs played games and Sister Miller did her hair.  It was fun.

 

Saturday we had transfer calls at the Leonhardts my last one that matters haha. I found out that I will be serving till I go home in .....................HEIDELBERG!!! YES!!! And I will be with Sister Miller! That is what I would have chosen :) I am excited that I get to serve here till the end with Sister Miller it is going to be a great end to my mission. After Transfer calls we met up with Marie and finished the baptismal programs and then went to Monika´s and made a cake for Michelle’s baptism. Then when we were going home our bus never came so we had to walk to the train station which took 40 mins and it was infested with millions of SPIDERS!!! YUCK! But we got home safe.

SUNDAY was for sure the best day of the week, the church was full. We had from our less actives Danelle and Sister Breitenhuber came ( this is the first time for over 10 years that Sister Breitenhuber has come to church) For investigators we had Charles, Abbey, Monika and this new potential xiao. Also Marie came to the baptism of Michelle! Oh it was wonderful she was soooo happy! This is why I am here so everyone can be as happy as her. After we went to the Dabrons and their family is the best Marie loved them too. Oh just a wonderful day :)

Sister Wrathall

 

This coming Sunday she will be baptized!!! :)

Sad that dad is gone for 2 weeks again. It seems like he travels a ton! Dallin! That is way you are not supposed to do winter sports on your mission tisk tisk. I hope it will turn out ok. Your date night activity sounds fun haha I would like it :) I don´t know the kids book that you chose though “snow" I don´t think I ever read that one. This Saturday is transfer calls so next Monday will be the start of my last transfer!!! Can you believe that!!??!!! Anyways on to the week 

Tuesday we first met up with the Elders at the Nekar wiese to plan a finding activity for the Zone on Thursday. It was a beautiful day and we got a lot done so that was good. After we met with Monika, I feel like her lessons are going a lot better now that we have slowed down and given her more time to understand rather than rushing through everything and her not understanding the why of things. After Monika we met with Michelle and Cathy we taught Michelle the Word of Wisdom. We had to glasses of water and one we put dirt and leaves and twigs in it and so forth each thing representing tobacco or drugs and tea and so forth, then we asked her which glass of water she wanted to drink haha. She chose the clear one we told her it is like our Father in Heaven he wants us to keep our bodies clean so that we can enter into his kingdom. It went really well she said she would stop drinking green tea.

Wednesday we had a split so I was with Sister Hull in Heidelberg, we first met with Sister Breitenhuber and she made us lunch but didn´t eat with us which we thought was weird but whatever. The lesson wasn´t the best, Sister Hull and her I think didn´t really get along. Then when we left and were on the way out to our next appointment we got a call from Sister Breitenhuber and she said do you want to know why I didn´t eat with you and I was like sure why and she said " I only have two spoons" and then LAUGHED haha it was so funny. I told her I would bring a spoon next time haha. After that we met up with Michelle and Cathy and they came with us to teach Monika. We taught about tithing and Cathy was a big help she made Monika really happy :) After that we met with Jennifer and like always the lesson was great but she is really bad at acting on her faith.

Thursday we had Zone training and that was good. After we did the finding activity. I was in charge of the Street display and we gave out a lot of Book of Mormons. It was great! The other activity was that people went around the old town Heidelberg and wrote mormon.org and lds.org in chalk everywhere. I think it was successful. After that we were on another split this time it was Sister Miller and I and Sister Schenk as a dritt. We met with the family Munch and that was good. We asked them to make a goal to be married in the temple and get sealed to their kids. They said that they have actually been thinking about that for a while. So I hope they start coming to church now.

Friday we did some finding on buses. I gave out a book of Mormon and the other sisters talked to some cool people. Then we met with Carmen Girnus a recent convert and that was cool because Sister Schenk was the missionary that taught her so that was fun for them to see each other again. After we were with Cathy and Michelle.

Saturday we met with Danelle and that was good she made us this really yummy curry :) then we did weekly planning and then we had to take these German surveys and tests and boy was that fun haha.

Sunday Monika and Michelle were both at church. After we all went to Cathy´s house for lunch she invited so many people. This family in the ward, Monika, Mattis, the elders and this homeless man....it was an interesting group but we got to teach 2 lessons there Monika and Michelle and both went great! Michelle is now ready for her baptismal interview which is on Tuesday and this coming Sunday she will be baptized!!! :) I am so excited for her :)

So pretty good week, I am so glad I get to be serving in Heidelberg with these wonderful people every day I feel more and more blessed.

Saturday we got to go to the TEMPLE

    The Germans apparently went crazy when they won the world cup, I just slept through it but Sister Miller said they were running down the halls screaming bloody murder haha, I just sleep through everything :) But it is pretty exciting everyone is like we are the world masters! The Germans are loving it. That is cool that a General Authority is coming to your sacrament meeting you will have to tell me if he says something cool :) ok on to the week

Tuesday was pretty good we got to meet with Monika and Cathy and Michelle. Monika we officially decided her baptism needs to be pushed back merely because she has such a hard time with understanding. The faith and desire are there but we really want her to know what she is doing so we decided that we should take it slower and so far it is going well. With Cathy and Michelle things are going good. Michelle is on track to be baptized on the 27th and she is learning and remembering which is great. I love these people so much they can make any day better.

 

Wednesday we went to the Onigkeits for lunch and that was really good haha we had them act out the story of Nephi going to get the golden plates and they loved it! It was so much fun they even dressed up some, I should have taken pictures. After we went to this little girl’s birthday party because it was a less active family. Man those children were crazy!!!! The literally brought Sister Miller and I to the GROUND! But it was fun and I feel like we have a better relationship with this family now which is really good. After we went to the church and Sister Miller and Elder Henderson practiced there song for Basty´s baptism.

 

Thursday was a busy day we started off with our interviews with the new president. He is very different but very nice. After we met with Monika again and then Danelle, danelle is doing so good she has been coming to church every week for a while now that is great! Then we had district meeting and that was fun because it was combined and Elder Waterböhr gave the lesson and it was great.

 

Friday we did ....WEEKLY PLANNING... my favorite... after we got to meet with Sister Breitenhuber and she was wonderful as usual. Last week she scared herself about coming into the church but she said she will try again so that is good. Then we met with Michelle and Cathy again and that went well. At the end of this we will be pros at teaching a 10 year old girl :)

Saturday we got to go to the TEMPLE and that was special because it was the first time for many to do baptisms. It was wonderful to see how happy they were. We are not allowed to do baptisms but we were able to watch and that was wonderful. After the temple we met with Monika and then went to Basty´s baptism. I gave the talk on baptism and Elder Henderson and Sister Miller did a wonderful musical number. Basty was so happy grinning from ear to ear :) When I went up to congratulate him he pulled me in and hugged me! Haha I was like I am not allowed and then he hugged me and said today is an exception then hugged Sister Miller too haha. It was good to see how happy he was :)

Sunday was good Basty received the Holy Ghost and then we went to dinner at Cathy´s with Basty and that was fun those two totally like each other :)
