Moving onto Sister Miller number 3 as a companion!

They celebrate Father´s day here but it is on a different day. But Tell Dad happy late Father’s day and he should be getting a package :) Good job making him yummy food and that is good that he got to Skype Kayla and Jared :) Nachtisch ist richtig :) Ok on to my week.

 

Monday we remade our apartment and it looks a lot better now we also remade it so that 3 people could live there because right after sport night (which Charles and his friends came too and it was so funny) Anna Schiffmann came home with us and was a mini missionary for the week!!!!! (She is a 16 year old young woman from the ward)

 

Tuesday we got up and did insanity and Sister Schiffmann said she wasn´t a fan haha but she did it the whole week so :) Then after that our first appointment was with her family haha. Her family is really nice and it was funny because they had to call her sister Schiffmann. Then after that we did some finding and went by on potentials and we got into the house of one named Sister Strümer and she was nice and is going to meet with us again next week :)

 

Wednesday was Zone training and that was good Sister Schiffmann had to bare her testimony there haha she was so cute. After that we went and ate at Carla´s house (her seminary teacher ha-ha) and then did study haha.

 

Thursday we had our Zone finding day in Spyer and that was fun we got lost getting there about 3 times but we made it and that is what is important right? It was really fun we got split up and they had different finding activities planned for us to do. I was lucky and got to stay with Sister Schiffmann. First we did a religion survey and Sister Schiffmann and I were good at that we got 6 people to do the survey while everyone else got 2 :) It isn´t because she is a native German or anything so they listen to her haha. Then after that we went chalking but they choose a really bad place to do it. It was in this park and absolutely no one was there. But maybe someone saw it later in the day. After that most of our day was gone but we still went to institute and that was fun because we went to the mission prep class with Sister Schiffmann, It was fun to see all the people preparing to serve a mission :)

 

FRIDAY SISTER TEEPLES BIRTHDAY!!!!! For morgen sport we walked to the castle which is always fun then I made crepes for breakfast and then we had study and during lunch the Elders came by and sang happy birthday to Sister Teeples and they gave her lots of goodies one being American cake mix which I made with a peanut butter frosting Sister Teeples favorite :) Then we did the lameo weekly planning and then we met with the wonderful Sister Breitenhuber :) She was so sweet. She said she woke up early this morning and prayed for Sister Teeples till she fell asleep again haha süß! Then we met with one of our new investigators Monika and that went awesome! She is so ready she says she wants to be able to have peace and be happy like us :) 

 

Saturday Transfer calls. Heidelberg was the first area to be announced and the news is I will be serving in.....Heidelberg with................. Sister............... Miller yes Sister Teeples is gone, going to Münster and I will be serving with yet another Sister Miller haha. I know her already and I like her so that is fun but I will sure miss my red head buddy Sister Teeples and she is super sad to leave. After that we met with the Janata family and then with Dana Graure and her sister in law and that went really well. Next week we are going to meet in the church! Then that night was Sister Schiffmann´s last night with us so we had a party :) Pictures are to come :)

Sunday CHARLES came to church and Lu jia so that was cool Lu Jia just stayed for a tour but Charles was there for Sunday school and he LOVED it! The teacher was Bruder Vonrauchhaupt and he is super funny! I love him haha, so did Charles after church Charles told me he wants to serve a mission and asked how he could do it what the steps were to getting to be a missionary and I said well you have to keep meeting with us and then get baptized and he at first was like wooohhhooo but then was ok ok ok haha so I have hope for him haha. He is funny and he is super sad Sister Teeples is leaving he said we are his friends and she can´t leave because we were the ones that brought him to the church then he was asking how far away it was so that he could visit her and said he would pay for her to stay and that we just needed to tell him who to talk to haha. But he will be ok haha. After that Sister Schiffmann went home :( :( :( and then we went and said goodbye to Cathy and Michelle they were both super sad.

Sister Wrathall

 

So Heavenly Father blessed us in another way.

Tuesday we first went by on Maria and gave her some cake because she just had her baby not too long ago and now her mother in law is leaving so she is by herself. We then went over to Cathy and Michelle and started to help unpack all their stuff and man for 2 people they have a lot! Then a member called and told us her friend lives close to Cathy and she wanted us to go with her and teach her....ummmm so we did that haha. It went pretty good her friend is really nice and I think we will teach her again.

 

Wednesday Sister Teeples did a mini street display. It ended up looking cool but we really had no success. A couple of people came up to us and we were like yes! But then they just asked for directions to somewhere... but I am sure lots of people saw it. After that we met with the Onigkeits and that was good as normal. I like that family a lot. Then we went on a split with the STL and this time I stayed in Heidelberg and Sister Teeples went to Darmstadt with Sister Hull. Sister Lyons and I went by on Jennifer and gave her a copy of the Restoration video she was so happy! But had no time to meet. We haven´t met with her since we set the baptismal date so ya I don´t think it is happening next week.

 

Thursday we had District meeting in Karlsruhe and so you know that took forever. We left our house at 8:15 and got back at 1:30! So after that we met with Sister Sahm, she is the mom of Sister Dabron, she was super nice and made us this really yummy lunch then after that we got on a train to Darmstadt to switch back, I get to Darmstadt and have 2 mins to get to the train to go back to Heidelberg. So a lot of that day was on trains.

 

Friday we did weekly planning and then met with Sister Breitenhuber and this lesson was really good we talked about the Holy Ghost and then she wanted us to go with her to the church so she knew how to get there. It was funny as we got closer to the church she spoke less and less. We got to the church and she walked around it and wouldn´t go in then went back home. She is little by little making progress :) Then we went by on this family that is in our navi that we thought the missionaries knew haha (we only had their address and last name for info) We got to the place and they were home but just got back from a bariel so didn´t want to meet that night but said we could come back so that was good. Then the next bus didn´t come for an hour so we did the unspeakable and went dooring for a little and had no success but on the train ride home I talked with these 2 Korean girls and got their number so Heavenly Father blessed us in another way.

 

Saturday was AWESOME! SO first we had an appointment with the lady that Sister Teeples talked to on the bus we were lost on for about an hour 2 weeks ago. We get to her house and she isn´t home but her step sister is she is 15 we find out that she has 12 siblings and that they all live in our area...we talk with her for a while and she is interested in coming to young women activities and such so that is cool. Then after an hour Dana and another one of her step sisters show up and we teach them the Plan of Salvation. They had a lot of questions but that is good. Questions are good. They seem really nice and I hope they progress. We have an appointment with them next week :) After them we went to HBF (Hauptbahnhof, the main train station) to meet up with Charles the guy that hit on us a long time ago he also shows up an hour late but he brings a friend then we go to the church and teach them the Restoration with the Leonhardts. It went really well and they already have a strong faith in God. It is funny because Sister Teeples, well everyone except me can´t really understand Charles haha he is African and you can tell I don´t know why I can understand him but I am not complaining haha. Elder Wardrop says it is because I am from the south haha. Anyways Charles said he might come to church the next day but his friend Obinna said he could come the next week.

 

Sunday was cool because this week the Spanish branch was created so the sacrament meeting was in German and Spanish. It was confusing for Monika, (an investigator of the Elders that they just gave to us this Sunday) It was her first week at church and she was like is it always like this??? But she seemed to like it anyways. We didn´t think Charles was coming but right after the actual sacrament he came in with another friend! So that was cool. His friend is actually the friend we met when we first met Charles. His name is Abby.He already has been to our church in Italy and knows a family in our ward he said he will for sure come to church next week. SO next week after church we hope to teach Charles, Obinna and Abby! 

 

SO that was my week a pretty good one and the next one will be good too because Anna Schiffmann a young women from our ward will be doing a mini mission with us :)

Sister Wrathall

We found out that Spanish group is turning into a branch!

I was going to tell you about the apartment last week but I forgot haha. So I guess I will just tell you now haha. It was moldy and water damage but our landlord is awesome and came in and got rid of the mold and fixed the water damage gave us a new light in our bathroom because the other was broken and put a shelf in and a towel rack. SO now it is good :) Our RS just went on a temple trip but the thing is Sister Teeples lost her recommend so she has to get an interview with president and she hasn´t done that yet sooo Transfer calls are on the 14th and the actual transfer is on the 19th. and president leaves end of July so ya. This last week wasn´t very good so it is going to be short.

Tuesday we met with the Vogt family which are some of our ward missionaries and they were really nice and cute and gave us a referral which makes them even better haha. After that we went and finally bought a fridge. Then at night we went by on Danelle a less active, she and her husband are going through some hard times which makes it even harder for her to come to church so I hope they will work through their problems so they can both be happy again.

Wednesday we had District meeting and that was good then after that we went to meet with Cynthia but when we got to her apartment she wasn´t home. Then we went to go meet with our referral Hannah and she lives a far ways away and we end up getting lost and have to make another day when we can meet with her so then we are stuck on this bus for about an hour and a half with only this creepy man and this lady and then the bus driver starts hitting on us....yay....Sister Teeples goes and talks to the Lady and ends up getting her info and we are going to meet with her she has a family of 2 kids! 

Thursday was a holiday here so the transportation wasn´t very good so we really only ended up getting to do a street display which actually was really good. We chalked the plan of salvation with the Elders and all together we gave out 4 Books of Mormons so that is good.

Friday we finally get to Hannah and find out she has no interest in learning about the gospel...sweet. Then we go to meet with Sister Breitenhuber and she did not like the people we brought last time to our lesson haha. She also made us something to eat this time. Bread with raw salmon on it... :( So I just dumped the salmon in my paper towel while she wasn´t looking and put some in my purse and then before we left I asked if I could use the bathroom thinking there would be a trash can in there but there wasn´t so I was like oh no what do I do! Then I saw the toilet! So I tried flushing it down but it wouldn´t go! So I give up and I go out then Sister Teeples asked to use the bathroom too and when she came out she looked at me like and said where did you put the Salmon??? I said TOILET and she went back in and did the same thing and got it to flush haha good times :)

Saturday we got our fridge! And then we did a day of service. We got drugs for someone’s cat and then helped Cathy with unpacking. Then we went to the Bishops house for coordination it was really good I really like our bishop and we found out that Spanish group is turning into a branch! So that is exciting especially for Sister Teeples. 

Sunday we had church and then went and help Cathy out some more.
