Tuesday we had a lesson with Shama and Andrew and that was really fun but also a little weird because we went over for lunch and they had invited a co worker of Andrew. They were an older couple but were really nice I liked them but it still wasn´t the same as with just Shama and Andrew. After Shama and Andrew we met up with Li and man this guy is so cool he is one of our new converts and we went and got milkshakes with him ( it really was just flavored milk :/) But he is just so cool he has a strong testimony and is so nice. After that we went to Brother Raeolina´s house to heart attack his door for his birthday. So we get to his apartment place and we think he lives on the American place so surely someone will let us in to do a birthday surprise....no one is home or no one answered either way finally a man came and walked in and we followed him and he was asking us all these questions like wait what are you doing and we explained it to him and he was just like...ok... we even showed him the hearts! But anyways so we put up the hearts and then we head out. So when we left we look back and a police women is walking into the place we just were.....that man totally called the coppers on us! Rude! but haha Heavenly Father is looking out for us! Also that night we had Sister Hasara come and stay with us because the next day there was a leadership meeting and so we were taking Sister Hasara with us while her companion was at this so we would have a drit for that night tomorrow and some of Thursday.
Wednesday we did something really cool. For our German study Elder Sheppard held a class for us and it was really good so we are going to start doing that 2 times every week and I think it will really help even from the 2 times I did this week. We are doing better in our German and it is super nice of Elder Sheppard to do. So because Elder Sheppard did that for us we decided we would make Pazookies for the Tech elders, don´t worry I have a picture, but basically it is not all the way cooked cookie dough with ice cream on top :) So that was YUMMY! After that we had a lesson with David, he is still hung up on this marriage before baptism and I think we are starting to get through to him but idk he says he will prepare himself to still be baptized on the 20th but we will see.
Thursday was the 4TH OF JULY! and we did good in celebrating it! We went to KFC for lunch and then we had interviews with President and then we went out for ice cream and then we talked to people on the river and then we had hamburgers for dinner it was as close to an American 4th of JULY as we could get also Sister Stoker and I dressed in red white and blue so that was a fun day! Also took a lot of money! Dang holidays :P
Friday we had our German study with Elder Sheppard again, once again very helpful then we met with Shama and Andrew and Shama told us that those people that were at their house last time said mean things about us! I was soo surprised because they seemed really nice :( so that made us kind of sad but it is ok because they are gone now and we did nothing that they can say is mean. They were just being mean. So after Shama and Andrew we had to meet with this family that wants their daughter Alison to have the lessons before she is baptized. So we got there at 6 which is what we decided on last Sunday. The trick with this family is that they actually don´t speak German or English so we had to have Sister Fernandez there for her to translate into Spanish and it turns out she thought the lesson was at 7 so we got there and we were awkwardly sitting in there house not really being able to communicate. The daughter spoke a little bit of German but lets just say I felt weird haha but the lesson went good once Sister Fernandez was there haha.
So Saturday was suppose to be our p day because we wanted to go to this museum that you go through as if you were blind and that is not open on Mondays so we asked if we could do it Saturday and president said yes. So we got up and we went shopping for our food and then we dropped it off and headed out to do emails when we realized we left our keys in the apartment....so we called the elders and they came 30 mins later and unlocked our door. Because of that we didn´t have time to do everything we wanted so we made Saturday a half p day and our doing the rest today. So we went with the Elders to teach this man named Lamar because they asked if we wanted to come and we said sure since we can´t do our full pday today anyways. So this man Lamar is soooooo awesome he will be baptized soon he is just so cool! The elders had taught him a while ago but these elder hadn´t but were looking through their area book and decided to drop by to see if he was still interested and when they did he said "I knew you guys were going to show up. I just found the Book of Mormon a couple of days ago and I thought to myself the missionaries are going to come soon and I was right here you are!" Cool right! So anyways this guy is cool. After Lamar we went with the elders to give furniture to other Sisters and man seeing there apartment I realize how sucky ours is haha but that is ok i don´t really mind. After that we headed to the blind museum because that was what we had been wanting to do all day so we get there and it turns out the next English tour is at 6 and we at first like ok guess we can´t do it but then we built up our courage and said we can do it in German and it turned out the next German tour was at 6:30 so we couldn´t do that either! Lame so we went souvenir shopping instead and decided next week we would go to the blind museum so my pday will be Saturday again hopefully the whole day. I did find a cool shirt that says FRANKFURT and shows the city skyline. It is really cool because the tallest building in the skyline is the building right by our apartment so I can point out where I live on the shirt. Sorry I wasn´t smart and didn´t take a picture of it. But I think that will be the one thing I buy from every area I am in, a t-shirt :) so after that we had ice cream with a member from the German ward and that was fun :) Also we saw the finish line for the iron man race that was going to happen tomorrow.
Sunday we had church and we had David and Luis Spittler come which was really good and it was just all around a good church meeting. Then after church we went to the Spittlers to do the sacrament and to have lunch. They are really nice people and it is always fun to go and see them and on the way to and from their house we saw people in the iron man so that was pretty cool to see. After them we went to see Grace and our lesson with her was really good at the end she said she felt something new and it felt good so that was really cool to hear. But ya that was my week :) thank you to everyone who is writing me and praying for me :) I am loving my mission and I am loving the people I am teaching I can see how the gospel is changing the lives of these people and it is such a cool thing to see. I love having the knowledge that I have a father in heaven that loves me and I love sharing it with the people of Germany :)
Love you all,
