Transfers are this Saturday!AHHHH i have no idea what is going to happen! Sounds like your week was pretty good though that is cool that you got to go to the temple with Jared and Rachel and no I didn't know they got a new video! I went to the temple this week and it was the same one. I wonder why they are changing it? I like this one. I am still practicing my German it is fun because when we talk with people that are not native German speakers we can understand almost everything but when it is a native German then it is so much harder! That would be cool to stay here and see Kasmin and Jordan! And that is cool that Elder Stevens is in Everett! Dallin better get his papers in fast because he says I can't get married without him there haha. I don't know what I want for my birthday haha I can't believe I am turning 20! EWWWW anyways here is on to the week.
So Monday was just normal p-day stuff shopping for food and cleaning and stuff but for dinner we went to the new senior missionary couples house the Peerys and they were really cool and it turned out the senior missionaries were having this progressive dinner thing so that was cool because for salad we had the Peerys and 2 other senior missionaries and then for the main course we stayed and 2 other senior missionaries came and so on till dessert it was really cool because we got to see lots of different people. I already knew most of them but there was a couple that I had not met before so that was fun to get to know them.
Tuesday was my 5 month mark and I woke up and I was super tired and it was dark out side and I just wanted to back to sleep but I got up and said my prayers anyways and I get out of my bed and I see Sister Stoker isn't in her bed and I think hmmm that is weird but oh well. So I get out of the bedroom and I see on my desk a plate set with balloons and a piece of paper that says HAPPY 5 MONTHS SISTER WRATHALL! I went to the kitchen and Sister Stoker had woken up early and was making me breakfast :) I came and hugged her and she told me to hop in the shower and once I was out breakfast would be ready! She made me hashbrowns pancakes and eggs and toast :) This is super special coming from her because she isn't the best cook so I know it took her a long time to get everything perfect. I saw quite a few burnt pancakes in the trash can...She is so cute! Then we also ended up getting the car that day so that made it even more special. We got to meet with this new lady in our ward Sister Larsen and she was really nice she had just moved here and she is excited to try to do missionary work! Then we met with the Kearon Family and they were awesome as well we asked them if they would want to do a family mission plan and they said yes but could we each do our own mission plan???? UMMM YES PLEASE! Sweet right! Then we had dinner with the Eyres and that was fun they are such nice people :) Then when we were done with that we had to give the car back and we were riding home on the bus and Sister Stoker said I am sorry that we didn't get something special for your 5 month mark because everything is usually closed at this time and I said that what she did was enough and when we got off the bus we saw that the bakery that is super close to our apartment was still open but I was like ya but they probably don't have what I want ( This thing called a hornchen super yummy) and we go in and they have 3 left! Those things are usually sold out by like 5 so it was a miracle and I bought one haha yummy perfect day!
Wednesday we met with Li and had lunch with him he is so cool because he is just so new and such a firm member it is really nice to meet with him. After Li we met with Alejandra and she is also really fun to meet with because she is like our age and it is nice to help her strengthen her testimony. Then we had dinner at the Jensen's and that was cool turns out they were mission presidents for this mission a little while back. We have so many people who were mission presidents and such in this ward like on Monday at the dinner thingy brother Hunt was just talking and he was like ja and when I was working with Gorden b Hinckley blah blah blah! Cool right anyways dinner with them was fun.
Thursday was interesting because we had district meeting and that was good and then our we were on our way to our weekly appointment with Frau Seipel and we were running a little bit late so we called her to tell her sorry but when she answered she said she was at a doctors appointment....that would have been nice to know. So then we decided to go by on this member then got totally lost and just decided to go home and study until our dinner appointment with the Robertsons. When we got to the Robertsons they were so nice! They are doing such a great job with missionary work they have friends that seem to be getting really close to be ready for baptism! So that is always fun to hear success stories and they were just so kind I love them. Oh funny story so when Sister Robertson dropped us off at the train station there was this man that was wearing a cape and no pants holding a purse and a puppet kissing it and wearing a jokers hat...crazy Oh also we got a voice mail from Ammoron our ward mission leader that said the DC lady I met last week said she would come to the relief society activity! COOL RIGHT!
Friday we went to the TEMPLE!!! It was awesome but funny thing when we got off the train we saw the crazy guy again but he was dressed normal but still carrying the puppet and purse...strange. But anyways the Temple was really good but also funny because the session was actually in French haha so even though I wanted to listen to it in German I still had to wear a head set haha silly Germans oh well.
Saturday We heard that the Pfernders we really stressed so we went to the office and heart attacked their room then we went and to go and have our newly scheduled lesson with Frau Seipel and on the way this man yelled across the street hey are you guys Mormons and we were like yes and he said I have some questions for you and he seemed pretty cool and had actually read parts of the Book of Mormon which was pretty cool so we ended up getting his name and number and I hope we get to meet with him! Then we had our lesson with Frau Seipel and that was good then we had to rush to get to the spittlers. But on out way we met this other guy from Peru that was really cool and said he had a friend that is a member and severed a mission and we talked to him for like 15 mins about the gospel and he seems pretty cool too we got his name and number and hope to meet with him too. So then we get to the spittlers and end up only having like 10 mins but it was a good lesson I am glad we just didn't cancel. Then we went to the church to do VOLLEYBALL but no one showed up :( But Sandra came and we had a good lesson with her so I guess it worked out
Sunday we had no investigators at church Shama was supposed to come but didn't. Then we had dinner at the Chjaves house with Shama and Andrew and Dinner went well and the spiritual thought went well until Luis asked Andrew questions and then it went in to a rant...Andrew doesn't believe in God at all and it is really sad. Then the Chaves played us some music Luis played the piano and he was amazing while Bishop played the clarinet and he was really good too!
But ya that was my week I hope these two people we met we can met again and teach them! Hope everyone has a good week love you all
Sister Wrathall
