It was an awesome week

We have District meeting every week but every other week we meet in Heidelberg so they have to come here. I called that Greek girl Saturday and she asked me how I was and then said so we are meeting this week right...I said  ummm yes and she was like ok good my friend wants to come too so she has to talk with her friend for a day but she said she would text us tonight :) So it is looking good plus we found a guy that served his mission in Greece cool huh! There is a ton of people from Spain here I have no idea why but it is cool as long as I have sister Teeples as my companion. I belong to Die Kirche Jesu Christi Der Heiligen Der Letzten Tage haha and I liked ward conference only being 2 hours haha. Not going to lie, I am not jelly about you going to the baseball game I think they are pretty boring. But glad you had fun anyways haha. There is a new Spiderman movie...again! It seems like the last one just came out! Ok on to my week it was a miracle one!

Monday we met with Danelle one of our newly not less actives and this lesson was sad. She feels like she doesn’t have a place in the church and that she might stop coming to church regularly because of that. That was scary to hear! We need to talk to bishop and get her friends and a calling then I think she will be going good again but the time in-between is the scary part.

Tuesday was AWESOME!! SO it started with District meeting which was good except the Zone leaders the elders in my area skipped it! Lame! But we had a good meeting without them haha. Right after we got to meet with Yue which is this Chinese girl that we found in our area book. We called and she said she would like to meet. We sat down with her and she was super happy to see us. She told us that she was going to take this seriously and that she wanted us to give her things in-between the times we met to read so that she can learn more and write down questions she has....also that she wants to meet at least once a week....UMMMM LEGIT! We finished setting expectations with her and the whole time she was just smiling! She will be baptized! It is just a matter of when. After that we went home and finished our study and made some cake for members in our ward because they were sick. The cake was done and so we trekked to their house which was at the top of one of these huge hills haha and they were not home. So we left a note and then went by on this less active that Bishop had asked us to work with, we haven´t been able to get in with her and we have tried many times. We ring the doorbell and....she lets us in! She said normally she never lets anyone in but today she had a feeling she should. She has a long way to go till she will be fully active. I hope we can get her there, she is at least willing to meet with us which is cool. After her we decided to go by on Jenifer this other person we found in our area book which we had an appointment but it fell out and since then we haven´t made contact. We went by on her and she was home! She had us come in and we started talking with her, she said before when she met with the missionaries she was on this " Baptismal Course" and that she got sick and busy with work but she wants to start doing it again....oh she also already knows our church is the only true church....we told her we could help her get back on that course...!!! How awesome! So that night we couldn´t stop smiling to say the least :)

The hill they hiked up to deliver the cake

Wednesday was also really good we had our fully study then got to meet with Cynthia with a member. The bad thing is they spoke Spanish the whole time and even though I don´t know a lot of Spanish I knew they were not talking about the Plan of Salvation which was our lesson...so that was kinda frustrating that I couldn’t say in Spanish ok let’s talk about God´s plan for you instead of this other stuff. After her though we were able to meet with Carmen one of our newly baptized members. She was awesome we read Alma 32 and she LOVED the chapter she said it is awesome know how she can understand the meaning of it now where before she had no idea what it was talking about. Cool huh? After her we went by on this couple we found in our area book and guess what! They were home and said we could come back and teach them more, they aren´t quite as cool as Jenifer and Yue but still pretty cool. Then after that we met with the Klimpel family so Nadine and Giedo and that was awkward because they are going through a hard time, but still good.

Thursday we got to meet with Kristin at the Taylors house like usual and the lesson went really well. We talked about repentance and read Alma 36 and she loved the story she said it explains repentance beautifully. She doesn´t have a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon and I think that is one thing holding her back from being baptized so we are going to do our lessons now from chapters in the Book of Mormon to strengthen her testimony, that it is the word of God. After that lesson I think it is a good plan. After that we went to help Lindsey by painting the bed for her baby which is due on the 7th crazy! She is so nervous but she will be fine. We spent 4 hours there 3 painting and the other one eating pizza and giving the spiritual thought! That was a long time but a good time. I feel like we really helped her and got to know them a lot better.

Friday we to the place to get my foot inserts and that was fun haha. I had to do all these funny tests my favorite was they took a mold of my foot in the really soft foam it felt so weird! Next week I should have them. Then we did weekly planning and then went to the Spears for dinner. It was fun they are a super nice family. Her son Garreth is turning 12 soon and is preparing to receive the priesthood which he is excited about.

Saturday we had transfer calls and Sister Teeples and I are staying together in Heidelberg which we are both happy about, we are excited to work with all these new investigators. After that we did our street display and then met with the Janata family, which was fun they are super cute and she wants us to meet with them every week :) After that we met with the Girnus family again and that went really well as well.

Sunday at church Cynthia came which was cool. We taught the Young Women class and the topic was the Book of Mormon so at the end we gave each of them a Book of Mormon and told them to mark their favorite scripture and write their testimony and then give it to one of their friends :) I hope they all do it and we get 12 new young women. After that we went to the Spanish Sunday school with Cynthia and I was part of the lesson haha. They had a piece of paper that had the promise land written on it and I just had to hold it up when they told me haha soo important haha. Then testimony meeting was good we have 12 BYU students that are going to be in our ward for the summer and a lot of them served missions in Germany so it was cool to see some of them get up and bare their testimony. After church we met with the Fiedler family. They are so cool I like them a lot. We found out that BrĂ¼der Fiedler served his mission in Greece so we could use him as a joint teach with our Greek GIRL cool huh! After them we just went home and did study :)

IT WAS AN AWESOME week and I am looking forward to the coming week!
LOVE YOU ALL
