Sister Allison Wrathall: June 23, 2014 Enjoying the Soccer Fever in Germany!

Tuesday started with District meeting which was actually really not that great I felt like it wasn´t really a good use of time but oh well hopefully next time it is better. Then after that we went to Gelato to go with Jessie and Brian and the Elders and Kristin so that a lot of people could say good bye at the same time to Sister Teeples. It was good we had a good talk with Kristin and of course really yummy gelato :) After that we went home so Sister Teeples could have some time to pack. Then we met with Sister Breitenhuber with Bishop Henkel. It went really well Sister Teeples gave her a dollar bill with her face on it because it is one of her traditions she had with the missionaries that first taught her so we thought we would start it up again she was so happy haha she got a nail out and nailed it to her wall haha. She also had cake for us that was really yummy and it was great that Bishop was there and that she was able to meet him. She will come to church before I go home haha!

Wednesday we started with finally seeing Lindsey Cross and her baby! He is so cute! It was good to see them. Then we met with Monika with Anna again and it went super well we taught the restoration and she totally believes it and we asked her if she would pray to see if she should get baptized on the 19 of July and she said she would and now we are going to start meeting with her 2 times a week :) After that we went to meet with Danelle and she is still going through a hard time with her husband and it is bringing her down but she did go to church with him last week and that was cool to see. Then we went and met with the Rodriguez family and that was soooo funny yes they are Spanish and only the son speaks English and only a little but it was soo fun and now sister Miller and I are going to meet with them every week and they are going to help us with Spanish and we are going to help them with German I am excited!!

Thursday the big day! We got up and walked to the castle one more time for Sister Teeples and then she finished packing and we headed down to Frankfurt. We get to Frankfurt and it was fun to see some people that I haven´t seen for a while like Sister Zenger and Sister Leonardson and Elder Burger. It was good, then I got on the train with my new comp Sister Miller and we headed back to Heidelberg. Once we got back we did weekly planning and went to bed.

Friday we met with Frau Strümer and that went well we taught the Plan of Salvation and we asked her how much she had read since the last time we met with her and she had read 17 chapters in the Book of Mormon!!! CRAZY COOL. She said that we could come back next week. After the lesson Sister Miller told me that, that was her first time teaching the POS in German and she is only one transfer younger than me isn´t that crazy!! After that we met up with Vi who for the weekend was Sister Do. Then we went to this Duck party with Cathy and Michelle that the Elders put on to welcome Sister miller and for Elder Wardrop´s BIRTHDAY!!! It was good :)

Saturday we met with bishop and talked about the members then we did a street display and Sister Do gave out a Chinese Book of Mormon and got her info so the was cool. Then we met with the family Spear and she gave us some fresh honey from her hives cool huh.

Sunday we went to Hanau for a stake conference because a new stake is being made, and guess who the new Heidelberg stake president is, Bishop Henkel!!!! Which is good but also sad because now he isn´t my bishop but I know he will be a wonderful stake president. It was cool because i got to see people for Frankfurt and Darmstadt there which was cool because members actually came up to me :) YAY they remember me :) After church we went to Cathy and Michelle and taught Michelle about prayer. Then it was time for Sister Do to go back to being Vi :( Sister Miller and I went home and she had to do a conference call so I did some study, back to being a comp of a STL.
