I could for sure see Heavenly Father´s hand in the work this week

I can´t believe it is MARCH it is crazy to me for sure, I felt like we never had a winter here! I think the missionaries there are spoiled! I have 2 eating appointments this week so don´t feel too bad for the Elders. Also can you not have the Elders and Sisters over at the same time...well I guess the Sisters have no time but that is what some single women do here haha. Ok now on to the week

Tuesday we met with Dorina again and she is so cool and I think that she knows the gospel is true which also means she knows what she needs to do if she wants to join the church and I don´t know if she is willing to do that. So we basically told her that she needs to decide. So we will see what happens I hope she chooses the right thing!

Wednesday Bart had his birthday so we surprised him with brownies and Sister Zenger playing happy birthday on her violin for him haha. He was shocked. It was awesome! After that we went to the mensa to talk with students and it was pretty good. We got to talk with this one girl that was really nice and she had interest in America and a little about the church but mostly America. But we for sure planted the first seed. After that we were supposed to meet with Kristin but she ran out of money so she couldn´t come to the church and we had to help for the activity so we couldn´t go to her. But Sister Weidauer was there because she was going to teach with us so we went to a less active that lived like 1 min away. It was a really good choice she was super nice and Sister Weidauer invited her to church. Then for ward night we made quilts for all the babies that are about to come in our ward! They were so cute!

Thursday we met with Angelika and that was good as usual. We talked about the general conference talk “You never walk alone" Which is super good! Then we went with her to say happy birthday to Sister Kozilk which was good. She was so nice. She gave cake to us and told us about how excited she is to go to America at the end of March. She is going to visit the missionary that baptized her. How cool!

Friday I woke up sick yuck! But life goes on. We got to meet with Eva, which it has been a long time since we have met with her, so that was good to get to see where she is at. Her story is sad she wants to get baptized so badly but her boyfriend will not marry her and they already have 3 children together and so she doesn´t want to break up the family. They just both need to get there priorities straight. Then we met with Juliana and that was interesting. We asked her what it would mean to her if god had a plan for her and she said “nothing I have my own plans”....Then we talked about how prayer helps us when we are sad and she said she is always happy, never sad...She had to flee from her country because of war...I think she is sad sometimes. We will see what happens with her.

Saturday we had our street display which turned out to be really good. It started bad though haha. We had just set everything up and then started to say a prayer and in the middle of our pray this lady comes up to us and yells to us that we are a sect....very nice people very nice haha. The member just kept on praying. The cool thing about this street display was that people came up to the stand without us doing anything, not a lot but a couple. And I don´t think I have ever seen that before. The other cool thing was there was quite a few members there and they were able to bear there testimonies to so many people. I was kind of partnered with Sister Schmidt and she is boss. She knows French, Spanish, English and a little German. We kept finding all these Spanish people. It was so cool that Heavenly Father lead us to the people he knew we could communicate with. After that we were able to meet with Bonnie, she is such an example to me, she was called as the young women’s leader 2 years ago and at that point she had 4 young women. As the year went on 2 of them moved away and 2 lost interest in the gospel so she was left with no one. She still prepared every week for about 3 months with no one coming. Then one day Lea the daughter of Eva came. She was immediately drawn in by the people and chose to be baptized. Later another girl in the ward turned 12 so now she has 2 Young Women. She never lost faith.  I think that is super cool.

Sunday church was awesome Sister Roch received the Holy Ghost and the spirit was super strong. I almost cried. After church we met up with Bishop and went to this old people’s home to meet this lady that he told us we could do service for. She was super nice and Bishop has been taking care of her for like 30 years. He is a really good man. I think we are going to find a lot of service opportunities at this old people home. I am excited.

Well that was my week I hope you are all doing well. I could for sure see Heavenly Father´s hand in the work this week. I am so grateful that I am able to serve the Lord at this time. Love you all
