Oh my, being with Sister Miller again was sooooo fun! I miss her haha

     I am feeling way better I just had a cold and sore throat but also one day I just woke up and my foot was hurting and swollen...weird but it barely hurts now and it isn´t as swollen haha. Me and my feet on my mission. That is ok about last week I did my email earlier and only had an hour because of Carnival. (Didn’t wake up early enough last week to email chat with her) Haha I like knowing all the secrets and that is good that you get so many pictures from members of Dallin. Ok on to the WEEK!!

 

     Monday for p day we went to Herne and went hiking. It was really fun. Then after we went to meet with Bart and Mado which was super fun haha. So in Germany Carnival it started last Thursday and went to this Tuesday I still don´t really know what it is but people dress up like Halloween and get drunk thus giving us the rule that we had to be home at 8 or be driven home. At Bart and Mado´s we ate dinner and they wanted us to stay but didn´t have a car but lived like 5 mins away walking so they said they would walk us home and defend us with their lives haha. We got home safe.

 

     Tuesday we wanted to go to a library to do German study and we wanted to go to a new one. We ended up getting lost and the library ended up being super close to the main station....but because we got lost we didn´t have time to do German study. Instead we headed to the Mensa to talk with some students and on our way we saw Xicjun!!! She was happy to see us and asked if she could come with us to eat lunch. We were like OF COURSE! Then we talked a while and she told us she would be done with school on the 10th of this month and said she would have tons of free time. We asked her what she was going to do and she said she wanted to learn English then asked if we had any ideas and I said ya come to church with us haha. She said ok!!! So MIRACLE!!! I love how Heavenly father works.

 

     Wednesday we met with Kristin and taught the law of Tithing. It went well she said she would do it :) Then at ward night we sang German folk songs! WOOT one of my favorite activities and Sister Roch’s mom came. I asked her if she would like to meet with us but she said if she had any questions she would just ask Bruder Roch, sometimes it is bad when they know a member haha not really. 

 

    Thursday was Sister Zenger´s birthday and man I got her good! So the day before I called the Elders and made them bring potatoes to ward night. That was super hard to do without Sister Zenger hearing me but I did it. Then before going to bed I drank 2 water bottles full of water so that I would have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. It worked. I woke up and moved into our study room to sleep then set the alarm and for 5:20. Once the alarm went off I woke up and made hash browns, syrup, eggs and toast, Sister Zengers favorite breakfast. Then I also made a happy Birthday sign with sticky notes. HEHE she woke up and walked out and the toast popped up haha. Her face was priceless!!! Anyways after that we went to Dortmund and I had an interview with President. That went well then we went to Angelika and she had a cake for Sister Zenger and we sang happy birthday so cute. Then we went to sister Dietz and she forgot that is was her birthday but we still had a great lesson. Then we met with Kristin with Caryn and that went well. Poor Kristin she bought Sister Zenger earrings and he ears are not pierced but we didn´t tell her that but now I got some new earrings haha.

     Friday we went to the church so that Bonnie, Elder Clement and Sister Zenger could practice for Sunda. Then we met with Frau Rickl and this lesson went better. We got to read from the Book of Mormon and didn´t have to go to her church. Then we met with Sister Wieker and that was super fun, Dimitri was there too and at the end he played the piano and we sang haha. We were a band! Then we made a split, Sister Miller came to Essen WITH ME!

 

     Saturday, oh my being with Sister Miller again was sooooo fun! I miss her haha. We woke up and made muffins for the day of the open door. Which was a day where people could come into the church and learn what we do and also eat yummy food of course haha. This was really badly advertised....like there was none. So the Missionaries made signs and hung them up and then Sister Miller and I stood on the sidewalk for at least 2 hours waving to people trying to get them in...It worked once with Sister Wiekers husband, who isn´t a member, he said he saw us and recognized us and decided to come in. Cool huh! Bishop even came out and wove with us for a while. Good thing it was a BEAUTIFUL day, no tights and a short sleeved shirt. After that we met with Kristin because that morning we got a call saying they could come and give her, her interview Sunday so we thought it would be good to meet with her and go over the questions again she was happy to see sister Miler. It was a good day

 

      Sunday we had church! Surprising I know and Kristin had her interview and she did great. After church we met with Family Roch and that went well. They are so kind and funny haha. Then we sat outside in the sun and did weekly planning which actually helped a lot haha
